Jen Schimpf
Annapolis native Jen Schimpf is a self-taught pianist and guitarist who blends indie blues vibes with heartfelt storytelling to create a moving mosaic of sound. Since she was a child, Jen has been composing original music with raw authenticity that resonates deeply with listeners. Her songs are a reflection of her own journey, sharing the lessons she’s learned through seasons of emotional struggle and significant health challenges. Through raw honesty and vulnerability, Jen creates music that offers solace, strength, and a sense of connection to those navigating depression, anxiety, and the quiet storms of healing. Multiple songs from Jen’s latest album were featured in an indie film called “Loch Raven” that was recently added as an official selection for the Santa Monica Film Festival. She has delivered noteworthy performances at events such as the Annapolis Songwriters Festival and Songbird Festival, and will soon be gracing the Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center this June. Her 5-song EP, Static in the Attic, is streaming on all major platforms, and she tours locally, bringing intimate, soul-stirring performances to audiences across the region.
